When you are ready to go to production, we will be there to help make things run smoothly.
We wanted to remind you:
- There is a long lead time for components, in particular LCDs which can be 14-16 weeks, so the sooner we get your production orders, the better we can meet your needs. While we keep standard products on the shelf for prototyping and small-volume initial production, the majority of production shipments are made-to-order.
- Do not count on lead time being the same as last time. Although you’ve certainly gotten a quicker turnaround from us in the past, we wanted to remind you that worst case lead time could be as long as 18 weeks. We do our best to keep safety inventory on hand, but last-minute orders sometimes take this stock.
Here’s what you can do to protect yourself:
- Place an order to get in the queue. We mitigate long lead time items by having blanket purchase orders in our system. If you want to be assured you will get production modules when you need them, please contact sales to place a purchase order as soon as possible.
- Reduce your price with blanket orders. Reach offers blanket orders for up to 12 months. This helps you to obtain the lowest price for your annual requirement. Price breaks are available at 10, 25, 50, 100, 250, 500, and 1,000 pieces. Contact sales to request pricing or to place a blanket order.
For manufacturing flexibility, Application Loader allows customers to install display modules and then later program them. To do this, order Application Loader software to come preloaded on the display module’s on-board NAND memory. This allows your manufacturing team to load your QML application directly into NAND on the module before final testing and shipment. Application Loader
